Help with Federal Agencies

Our office assists Virginians with a specific concern involving a federal agency.  Due to The Privacy Act of 1974, you should first submit a written inquiry to our Washington, D.C. office.  We must have a written statement bearing your signature before we can begin work on your case.  Please include copies of all correspondence you have received from the federal agency involved as well as your home address, phone number, email address and original signature. Please do not email your request.

As quickly as we receive your written request through the mail, we will acknowledge receipt of your information with a return letter that will provide you with the name of the staff assigned to your case.

Caseworkers can help residents understand their individual problems involving Social SecurityMedicareveterans or military affairsfederal taxespassports, or immigration issues. In the event of an emergency, please call our office at 202-224-2023.
