A few hundred people came to Lake Park High School in Roselle, IL on June 5th to speak out and offer solutions to get America back on track. (See pictures here) It's obvious people are motivated and informed about changing the priorities of Congress at levels the country has not seen in decades. That's why, along with Chief Deputy Whip Kevin McCarthy from California, I've helped launch an innovative new website called AmericaSpeakingOut.com that I think will transform the way Americans interact with their government. AmericaSpeakingOut.com utilizes new social media technology from Microsoft and integrates platforms like Facebook and Twitter to give people a voice in the direction of our country. Technology has revolutionized our daily lives, from the way we pay our bills to the way we keep in touch with friends and family. But the government has done little to take advantage of this opportunity to flatten our system of government and give every American a direct voice in setting the priorities of our country. With each borrowed dollar and each passing day the need grows for the American people to take back their government and set the country on the right course.
