Assistance with Federal Agencies

Federal Grants Assistance

If you represent a municipality or a non-profit organization, there are 27 agencies in the Federal Government that offer grants and loans. I can help facilitate the process by providing the resources and information needed to successfully navigate through the application process.

Small Business Assistance

My office can help small businesses in the right direction to find sought after advice and technical assistance.

Flag Request

I am pleased to assist constituents in requesting American Flags in memoriam or for special occasions.

U.S. Service Academy Nominations

In order to be considered for an appointment to a service academy, an applicant must have a nomination from an authorized nominating source.

Internships

Internships are available in both my Washington, D.C. office, and my Hartford district office. Interns will gain strong professional skills and valuable insight into the legislative process.

Congressional Page Program

Occasionally, my office sponsors a page for the Congressional Page Program. Congressional pages are high school juniors who live, work and attend school in Washington, D.C. for several months and play an important role in the life and work of Congress.
