Perlmutter and Colorado House Delegation United in Support For Colorado Rapids

Washington, DC -- While the Colorado Congressional delegation often agrees to disagree on many things, there is one issue the entire House delegation is united in supporting – the Colorado Rapids Soccer team.

Today, Rep. Ed Perlmutter (CO-07) and the entire Colorado House delegation introduced a resolution congratulating the Colorado Rapids on winning the 2010 Major League Soccer championship. The Rapids, whose headquarters and home stadium of Dick Sporting Goods Park are located in Commerce City, CO, rose from the 7th seed in the playoffs to defeat FC Dallas in overtime on November 21.  Attached is a copy of the resolution.  Rep. Perlmutter hopes the House will vote to pass the resolution in the next two weeks.  Click here to view resolution.
