Each year, a select group of young men and women are appointed by Members of Congress to serve as Pages in the U.S. House of Representatives. If you would like more information about this program or would like to apply to become a Page, please contact Rep. Royce's Orange office at (714) 744-4130.

To be qualified to serve as a Page, applicants must be at least 16 years of age at the time their appointment begins and have a cumulative GPA of a "B" or higher in five major subjects. Applicants must be sponsored by a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Page candidates MUST reside in the state that the nominating Member represents.  Members may NOT nominate their own or another Member's child.  Additionally, summer program applicants may only serve as a Page during the summer before or the summer after their junior year of high school. School year Page Program applicants may only apply for their junior year of high school.

Page appointments have always been, and will continue to be, made on a rotating system based on the date of a Member's most recent appointment.  If a Member recently made an appointment, the chance of receiving a page in the next several cycles is not likely.  This method has proven to be a fair way of ensuring that each Member is given an equal opportunity to appoint a page from his or her state.
