Due to the high volume and complexity of its work, Congress divides its tasks among Committees and Subcommittees. The House and Senate each have their own committee system, which are similar. In the House, Rep. Royce serves on two committees:

Committee on Financial Services
Under the Financial Services Committee there are several subcommittees. Rep. Royce serves on three: the Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance and Government Sponsored Enterprises; Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee; and the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit.

Committee on Foreign Affairs
Under the Foreign Affairs Committee there are several subcommittees. Rep. Royce serves on three. He is Ranking Member of the Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade Subcommittee. He also sits on the Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific and the Global Environment and the Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia.
