House GOP Office of MAJORITY TRANSITION | Rep. Greg Walden, Chairman

Introduction

The American people have chosen a new majority in the House of Representatives. Americans have been clear about what they want: more jobs, less spending, and a more open Congress that respects and abides by the Constitution. These priorities are embodied in the Pledge to America – a new way forward that hasn’t been tried in Washington. Enacting the Pledge will be the focus of the new Congress, and the goal of the transition will be to ensure the House is ready to begin implementing it in January.
