Congressional Art Competition

The Congressional Art Competition allows high school students living in the Seventh Congressional District to submit their artwork and compete for the grand prize of having their art displayed in the halls of the US Capitol for one year. Various forms of media are considered and the winner is chosen by a board of art enthusiasts and experts. Click here for more information.

I offer Congressional Internships for college and high school students in my Media, PA and DC offices A strong applicant will have solid written and oral communication skills, a high propensity for academic achievement, as well as the ability to work diligently and upon instruction in a fast-paced work environment. Congressional Page Program

For more than 175 years, messengers known as Pages have served the United States
Congress. Currently, approximately 100 young men and women from across the nation
serve as Pages at any given time. Pages must be high school juniors and at least 16 years
of age. Several incumbent and former Members of Congress as well as other prominent
Americans have served as Congressional Pages. Click here for more information.


U.S. Service Academy Nominations

As your Federal Representative, I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of students to four of the five Service Academies each year. The honor of attending a Service Academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
