Congressman Thompson has the ability to nominate young men and women from his district interested in attending one of our nation’s service academies.
All potential nominees will be interviewed and have their files reviewed by a committee comprised of graduates of the academies and community leaders who will make their recommendations to Congressman Thompson.
Congressman Thompson can nominate up to 10 applicants for each vacancy assigned to him by the academies. The academies must select at least one nominee from that list.
High school seniors or unmarried high school graduates age 22 years or younger can request a nomination by submitting a letter of interest to the Napa District Office or by calling (707)226-9898.
