Harry Teague's "Make It in America" Tour Stops in Los Lunas PDF Print

Las Cruces, NM – On Thursday, October 28th, Harry Teague will continue his “Make it in America” tour at Los Lunas High School, where engineering students have constructed a photovoltaic solar energy system in the school’s parking lot. He will attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and speak with attendees about his “Do it All, Do it in New Mexico” plan to create jobs and increase energy efficiency and independence.

Los Lunas High School received a $300,000 grant through the State Energy Program Recovery Act to construct the renewable energy source. The 50 kilowatt system is expected to save the school district $20,000 a year.

Harry Teague’s background as a small businessman in the New Mexico oil and natural gas industry as well as his wide knowledge of an array of energy sources has made him a prominent figure on energy issues in Congress.   His “Do it all, Do it in New Mexico” energy plan will help Valencia County create local jobs through the development of local energy resources.

All interested media are invited to attend.
