Visiting Washington D.C. PDF Print E-mail

One of the privileges I have as a Member of Congress is the ability to provide my constituents with reservations for V.I.P. Congressional Tours for visitors to Washington, D.C.

Tours that I can provide to my constituents are:
  • White House: [PLEASE NOTE: It is strongly recommended that requests be made six months in advance.  Due to security concerns, please submit tour requests for the White House no later than six weeks in advance.  Please keep in mind that the White House fills tours on a first come, first serve basis, so the earlier you request a tour the better chance you will have.  Tours are offered on Tuesdays through Saturdays in the mornings only, and the White House will assign tour dates and times.  Please keep in mind that spring is the busiest time in Washington, so even filing a request six months in advance does not guarantee you a tour.]
  • U.S. Capitol
  • Library of Congress
  • Kennedy Center
  • Supreme Court
  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing [PLEASE NOTE: It is recommended that you give at least 6 weeks advance notice for this tour]
  • The National Archives
  • Pentagon

These tours are an excellent way to see all that the nation's capital has to offer. All requests are submitted on a first-come, first-served basis to the tour venues. Due to the large number of visitors from the 19th District of New York and other Congressional districts, many of the tours available to me are reserved as far as six months in advance.

Therefore, if you wish for me to arrange tours, please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

Flag Requests

Flag Request Form (PDF)

I am pleased to assist constituents of the 19th District of New York in requesting American Flags flown over the Capitol Building and dedicated to any person, organization or event of their choice. Flags can also be flown on any specific date, including weekends and holidays. Each Flag is individually boxed and includes a certificate of dedication.

There are some nominal fees associated with flying a flag over the Capitol, and the price varies according to the size and material of the flag you request. This cost will be passed on to you.
CLICK HERE to download our flag request form. Once your request is received my staff will contact you to verify your request and give you necessary payment information.
