Congressman Lamar Smith released the following statement regarding Veterans Day.
Today is an important day for us to honor all the veterans who served to protect our nation's freedoms and to pay tribute to those who never came home. Ours is a great nation and those who sacrificed for our country in the military have made it so. We continue to honor all our veterans, young and old, who have done so much for all Americans.
