Education EDUCATING OUR CHILDREN • Congressman Cao facilitated the release of over $33 million in reimbursements to Tulane University for damages to Tulane’s facilities caused by Hurricane Katrina. • Congressman Cao secured $10.8 million to cover increased repair costs to the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center’s (LSUHSC) Clinical Education Building. • Congressman Cao hosted “An Artistic Discovery: Congressional Creative Arts Forum” for area high school students and awarded the 2009 Congressional Art Award.
