Assistance With Federal Agencies

Help With Federal Agencies

District Office Services:

Casework is a problem or concern an individual has with a federal government agency. The problem is not primarily related to legislation. Examples include problems receiving Social Security, disability or difficulties with visa applications. Although Members of Congress cannot guarantee a particular outcome, if you live in Georgia's 4th congressional district Congressman Johnson's office will work to help you receive a fair and timely response to your problem.

To open your case, please first fill out this privacy release form and submit it to the appropriate district office.

Unfortunately, Congressman Johnson's office can't help you if your problem is not with a federal agency. Because of the Constitutional separation of powers between the three branches of government, judicial matters (matters which involve the courts) do not fall under Congressman Johnson's jurisdiction as a U.S. Representative.

Problems which involve Georgia State agencies also are not under Congressman Johnson's jurisdiction as a U.S. Representative.

State and local issues are handled by your elected state and local representatives. You can find their contact information by visiting Georgia.gov.

Congressman Johnson's staff can assist you in the following federal issue areas.

Federal Agencies

Federal agencies often provide information and materials that can solve your problem online. Please consult the Web site for the appropriate agency before contacting Congressman Johnson's district staff for assistance.
