To request a tour, please call the D.C. office at 202-225-4155.

When visiting Washington, D.C., please drop by our office to introduce yourself and rest your legs for a moment. Tours of the Capitol and the White House can be scheduled if you request them ahead of time. Also, don't forget to come by and pick up free passes for the House and Senate galleries.

United States Capitol tours are available between the hours of approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Our office is happy to assist you in scheduling a tour, or you can do so on your own at http://tours.visitthecapitol.gov/. Tours are limited, so it's best to schedule a tour at least one month in advance.

The White House schedules public tours on a very limited basis. Tours operate Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of approximately 7:30 a.m. to noon. Tour requests need to be submitted to our office at least one month in advance. However, it is recommended that you put in the request much farther ahead of time. White House tour requests are best submitted six to nine months in advance, but there is still no guarantee that the White House will grant our request. This is especially the case during high volume visitor periods (March through September).
