- Veterans' History Project is an initiative of the Library of Congress to honor our nation's veterans and create a lasting historical record of veterans' experiences. The Project collects the audio- and video-recorded oral histories of America's war veterans, along with their photographs, diaries, and letters. The stories will then become part of a national archive, stored at the Library of Congress. Congressman Lynch took part in the Project and interviewed his father, World War II veteran Francis Lynch.
