1. Congressman Lynch has three offices.  How do I know which one to contact?

The Washington, D.C. office handles legislative issues and tour requests. If you have questions about a particular bill or would like to request a tour of the White House or Capitol, contact the Washington office. The district offices in Boston and Brockton handle constituent services. If you need assistance with a federal agency, would like to purchase a flag, or are interested in attending a service academy, contact the Boston or Brockton office.

2. How do I know if I live in the Ninth District?

Visit the U.S. House of Representatives web site and enter your zipcode+4 in the box on the upper left corner of the page.  For a complete listing of cities and towns in the 9th Congressional District, view the District page.

3. How do I share my opinion with Congressman Lynch?

Residents of the 9th Congressional District are always welcome to call any of Congressman Lynch's offices or email him at Stephen.Lynch@mail.house.gov.

4. How can I request a meeting with the Congressman or invite him to an event?

5. When will the Congressman next hold office hours in my town?

Congressman Lynch and his district representatives regularly visit each city and town in the 9th Congressional District.  Office hours and other community meetings are posted in the local newspapers, as well as on Congressman Lynch’s web site.

6. How do I find out how Congressman Lynch voted on a particular bill?

7. How are laws made?

9. How can I get a tour of the White House, the Capitol, or other DC attractions?

Call the Washington Office or email the tour coordinator at Lynch.Tours@mail.house.gov.  Please note that due to security reasons, you must request a White House tour at least 3 months in advance.

10. How can I purchase a flag that has been flown over the Capitol?

Contact Erin Gavaghan in the Boston office or complete the flag request form and fax it to the Boston office at 617-428-2011.

11. How do I apply for an internship in one of Congressman Lynch’s offices?

Interning in a Congressional office is an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand how government works by researching legislation, attending meetings, and assisting with constituent casework and inquiries.  College students interested in becoming an intern in one of Congressman Lynch’s offices should contact Bob Fowkes in the Boston Office.
