Washington, Oct 7 - Rep. Foster is now accepting applications for the Congressional Page program.  Foster will nominate one High School Junior to the spring program in Washington, DC, which runs from January 24 through May 27.  Pages assist Members of Congress with their legislative duties, deliver correspondence and small packages within the congressional complex, answer phones in the Member cloakrooms and prepare the House Floor for sessions.

Interested High School Juniors must live in the 14th Congressional District of Illinois, and must be either 16 or 17 years of age for the duration of the program. Applicants must have completed 10th grade, but may not have already started the 12th grade, and must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.

Applications can be downloaded on the right of this page, and are due via fax, hand delivery or received via mail at one of Foster's district offices in Batavia, IL or Dixon, IL by the close of business on October 27, 2010.
