Kosmas Stays True to Her Commitment to be an Independent Voice for Florida’s 24th Congressional District

(Washington, DC) – Today, in National Journal’s annual “Vote Ratings” issue, Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas (FL-24) was ranked among the top ten most moderate members in the entire U.S. House of Representatives and the most moderate member of the Florida Congressional Delegation.

National Journal’s rating demonstrates that based on her voting record Kosmas has stayed true to her commitment to be an independent voice in Washington and to work towards bipartisan, common-sense solutions to create jobs and improve Central Florida’s economy.

“Decisions in Washington are too often motivated by ideology, but I made a commitment to be an independent voice, focused on the people and priorities of our communities, and I work hard to live up to that commitment every day,” said Congresswoman Kosmas.  “As a former small business owner, I understand the importance of taking a common-sense, businesslike approach to address the challenges facing Central Florida’s communities.”
