Internal Revenue Service

One of the most important things I do as a U.S. Representative is help people with federal problems. Although I cannot override the decisions made by a federal agency, I can often intervene on a person's behalf to answer questions, find solutions, or just cut through the red tape. Additionally, while my office can help you in a number of ways, House Ethics Rules prohibit me from providing legal services in any matter or providing tax advice on your behalf.

Each year, my staff and I help hundreds of residents who are having problems with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). If you have had trouble dealing with the Internal Revenue Service, please contact the Livonia office at (734) 632-0314.

Regardless of which agency you need help with, I need a completed authorization form to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974, in order to contact with agencies on your behalf.
