Help with Federal Agencies - Casework

Thank you for contacting me for assistance. I have always welcomed every opportunity to be of service to the people of the First Congressional District of South Carolina.

As you may know, I will soon be retiring from Congress and not seeking reelection. Therefore, I will not be initiating new casework inquiries after October 29, 2010. However, if my office is currently working on an active case, we will continue to process it through December 17, 2010. If you need assistance in regard to a federal matter, I recommend contacting one of our U.S. Senators, Jim DeMint or Lindsey Graham.

I count it a great privilege to have served as your Congressman for the past ten years. As I prepare to leave office, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing me to serve you.
