Rep. Kilroy regards small businesses as the economic engine for job creation, and their success is key to rebuilding our economy. She supported the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that opens up new credit markets to America’s small businesses, increases the availability of SBA-backed loans, and includes millions of dollars in tax cuts for businesses.
In fact, since taking office, Rep. Kilroy has helped provide $15 billion in tax relief to small firms and unlocked $21 billion in new lending and investment for entrepreneurs. Rep. Kilroy continues to work with businesses in central Ohio to provide them with available federal resources to start new businesses, create new jobs and lessen regulations that can adversely affect them.
Rep. Kilroy is also dedicated to making health insurance more affordable for small businesses. She has met with small businesses to talk about health care reform and will continue to work to find solutions to the double digit rate increases small businesses face.
