Federal Agency Assistance

One of the most important things I do as a U.S. Representative is help people with federal problems. If you have a problem involving a federal agency, my staff and I are always willing to assist you. While we cannot direct an agency to decide a matter in your favor, we can assist in bringing your case to the attention of the proper officials and ensure that your case receives full consideration.

Below you will find a list of agencies that I can help you with. If you would like to file a case with my office you will need to fill out the Constituent Service Request Form to comply with the provisions of the Privacy Act of 1974. Please submit this form, a letter detailing the nature of your issue, and copies of any pertinent documentation to my district office at the following address:

Congressman Jeff Fortenberry
301 South 13th St., Suite 100
Lincoln, NE 68508

Upon receipt of your correspondence, my staff will contact you and initiate an inquiry to the agency on your behalf.

Although I want to help as many people as possible, I only have authority over matters dealing strictly with Federal Executive and Legislative Branch matters. Therefore, I may not enter into a matter of State or Local government policy, aid in disputes with private entities or individuals, or enter into a matter of the Judicial Branch.
