Help with Federal Grants

This website is designed to provide you with a central database of grants information on both government and private entities that offer financing to individuals, businesses and State and local governments. The links on this page will help you research various grant opportunities and guide you on writing grant proposals.

Please note that federal grants are rarely given to individuals or for-profit businesses. Grants are generally awarded to government, non-profit, or public owned entities for the betterment of the public. If you are looking for assistance with paying monthly bills or meeting personal obligations, here are a few different organizations who may be able to help:

My staff and I remain committed to providing the best services possible to assist you.  Our goal is to maximize grant funding for worthy projects in Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District.  My office can help you with several aspects of the grants process, including:

  • Identifying Grant Opportunities
    • If you are looking for grant funding for a particular project within your school or community, we may be able to help you identify a potential source of funds for which you can apply.
  • Grant Workshop
    • My offices regularly host a grants workshop. My staff and I are working on plans for a 2010 grants workshop, so check back often for more information. Representatives from both federal and State agencies attend the workshop to share information on funding opportunities and to provide tips on the application process.

Remember, my office is here to serve you.  Please do not hesitate to call my Fort Mitchell office at (859) 426-0080 if you need assistance or have questions concerning grants.
