Tour Requests 

Planning a trip to Washington D.C.? Allow my office to assist you in arranging tours for some of the more popular Federal attractions in our Nation's Capital! Whether you're coming for a short business trip, or an extended family vacation, we are happy to assist you in any way we can. Below is some brief information about the tours we are able to arrange for you. Please take a moment to look them over. If you are interested in one or more of the tours, fill-out the Tour Request Form and my staff will contact you as soon as possible to provide further details regarding your tours. All tours are free and are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so please request them as early as possible in order to maximize your chances.

Public Tour Information and Recommendations

Supreme Court:  Public Tours of the Supreme Court are available every hour on the half-hour, on days that the Court is not sitting, beginning at 9:30 AM and concluding at 3:30 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before these times. Call 202.479.3211 for more information. The building is open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. It is closed Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.

White House:  The White House encourages your group to take advantage of the White House Visitor Center located at the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets in the Department of Commerce Building.  The Center is open seven days a week from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM and features many aspects of the White House, including its architecture, furnishings, first families, social events, and relations with the press and world leaders, as well as a thirty-minute video.  The National Park Service at the White House Visitor Center is also available to provide your group with a variety of alternative experiences related to the White House.  These include guided walks, talks, films and lectures.  For more information, please call 202-208-1631.

Library of Congress:  Public tours are available on Monday through Friday at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, and Saturday at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 2:30 PM. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the public tour start time in order to accommodate security procedures. Bureau of Engraving and Printing: The BEP is open for public tours Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM and 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM.  Tours leave every 15 minutes. The BEP is located on 14th and C Streets SW.  For more information regarding BEP tours, please call: 1.866.874.2330.

Kennedy Center: Public tours are conducted every 10 minutes weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM and weekends from 10 AM to 1 PM. Walk-ins are welcome and you do not have to take a tour to have access to the building. The Kennedy Center is located on the banks of the Potomac River at 2700 F St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20566, at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue, NW, and the Rock Creek Parkway. It is accessible by Metro (via the subway and bus lines), by taxi, and by car. The rooftop view of the Potomac River is especially nice!
