Student Leadership Institutes (SLIs)

Photo of seminar in high school environmentAt my annual Student Leadership Institutes, high school students are given the opportunity to attend three of six policy seminars led by my legislative staff from Washington, D.C. These seminars address many of the major issues we face in Congress, such as education, health, national security and economic development.

 The SLIs give outstanding New Mexico students an opportunity to discuss public policy issues that affect New Mexico and the country.
