Veterans Services PDF Print

Every day young men and women return home from overseas having served our country bravely. They join millions across our country who have put on the uniform and put their lives on the line to protect our liberties.

One of my top priorities as your Member of Congress is to serve our nation's veterans, and to ensure that they receive the benefits and gratitude they have earned through their service. Below is a list of frequently asked questions that I receive every day from veterans across my district. If you're a veteran in need of assistance, you can also reach out to my Veterans Caseworker, Julia Talamonti by calling my Joliet office at 815.726.4998.

I'm here to serve our veterans, because they served our nation bravely. Ensuring our veterans receive the best care and the best service is the least we can all do to honor their courage and their sacrifice.

-Congresswoman Debbie Halvorson
