Serving You PDF Print

Serving the constituents of the 11th District is my top priority.

Whether traveling through the district or meeting with constituents visiting the nation’s Capitol, every week I have the privilege to work on behalf of 11th District constituents on the issues that matter most to them.

One of the most important functions of my office is to assist you in dealing with federal government agencies and bureaus. Government procedures can be confusing and, in the age of automated answering systems, often frustrating. Should you ever encounter difficulties in dealing with the federal government, please feel free to contact my Joliet District office at (815) 726-4998. My constituent services staff are trained to assist you in navigating the myriad of departments and phone numbers. They can direct you to the appropriate office, provide you with the necessary instructions, phone numbers or materials, or determine the status of an application.

My office also provides a number of other services. From helping secure tours of public landmarks in our nation’s capital, requesting flags flown over the Capitol building, to writing letters for special occasions and providing opportunities for internships, my office is ready to assist you. Click here to read more about services my office offers.

Please note: In order for my office to submit inquires to federal agencies on your behalf, we must receive a completed and signed Privacy Act Release Form, which you will receive after contacting my office. Additionally, please be sure to have on hand relevant documentation and reference numbers.

As a constituent, you are always welcome to contact my office; however, you are also invited and encouraged to use the resources included on my website which may answer many of your questions immediately.
