Today, U.S. Rep. Bill Delahunt announced that he has co-sponsored H.R. 5092, the so called Crush Act, introduced recently by Reps. Jim Moran (D-VA) and Elton Gallegly (R-CA). The legislation is designed to overcome a recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court’s to strike down federal law barring the sale of so-called “crush videos,” which graphically depict the abuse and killing of animals.
