Delahunt Chairs House Judiciary Committee Briefing On Foreclosures

WASHINGTON, DC – On Wednesday, Congressman Bill Delahunt will conduct a House Judiciary Committee briefing on the mortgage foreclosure crisis and its broader impact on the economy and financial markets. 

The forum will include testimony from key experts on why efforts to resolve troubled mortgages are having little success, how the growth in foreclosures is causing a drop in housing values and what additional measures exist to address the crisis, including an expanded role for bankruptcy courts.
