BRADY HOSTS VENDOR DIVERSITY WEBINAR
Washington, DC (September 20, 2010): On Wednesday, September 22nd, House Administration Chairman Robert A. Brady will host an online training seminar to highlight procurement opportunities within the U.S. House of Representatives and other related federal agencies. The Vendor Diversity Webinar will feature presentations from procurement experts and will allow participants to submit questions and gain additional information through online web connectivity.
“I am strongly committed to ensuring that procurement opportunities across the federal government are available to the broadest possible cross-section of our business community,” said Brady. “Small-businesses and those businesses owned by women and minorities have historically been under-represented within the federal procurement system. This webinar is designed to provide access to the experts and information that will help facilitate broader access, and, in so doing, help to better level the playing field.”
The webinar will feature procurement representatives from the Chief Administrative Officer of the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as the Small Business Administration, the Architect of the Capitol and the General Services Administration. The program is scheduled to begin at 9am on September 22nd, and will conclude at 2:30pm. To access the webinar please visit the Committee’s Website: http://www.cha.house.gov
