Request a Flag

Whether given as a gift to a friend or kept as a reminder of a trip to Washington D.C, a U.S. flag that has flown over the Capitol is a tangible symbol of the freedoms and liberties embodied in our Constitution. Claire's staff are happy to assist Missourians in obtaining a Capitol flag.

To order a flag, please download and fill out the flag request form.

If you would like to commemorate a birthday, holiday or other day of personal significance, we will do our best to arrange to have a flag flown on a day of your choosing. Because of the process for placing your request with the Senate, please mail your request at least four weeks before the desired date.

The Senate requires that the flag must be purchased from the Senate, and checks should be made out to "Keeper of the Stationary." Please do not send cash or checks made out to Claire or her office. Delivery of a flag normally takes four to six weeks from the date a flag is flown.
