Belke retired from the army in 1974, he spent the rest of his life serving his
country in support of veterans and their families. After leaving the Army,
he served as deputy chief of the Army’s Retirement Services Division and was
an active member of the Army Chief of Staff Retiree Council.
The
Clinic opened in October, and the VA estimates it will serve 3,500 local
veterans with primary and mental health care as well as other services.
