Seniors
With a growing number of Virginians over the age of 60, projections estimate that this age group will constitute almost 25 percent of the Commonwealth’s population by 2025.  The number of Virginians age 85 and older is growing five times faster than the state’s total population.  And, as the “baby boom” generation retires and Americans continue to live longer, I believe it is important that the services that Virginia’s seniors depend upon adequately meet the demand.

I have consistently supported policies that assist our older population - from ensuring access to health care and Medicare to protecting retirement savings and Social Security.
