CONGRESSMAN ALAN GRAYSON PROUDLY SERVING FLORIDA’S 8th DISTRICT

Internships

My office is always accepting resumes from college students interested in interning for academic credit.

Interns in the Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with the legislative, communications and constituent services staff members.

By assisting my district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge about how a Congressional office provides constituent services and interacts with the people I represent.  Students interested in an internship in the Orlando District Office should print out this Intern Application.  After you fill it out, please put it in a .pdf file and email it to Intern Coordinator Andrea Hendry at andrea.hendry@mail.house.gov.  If you cannot email it, please fax it (with a cover sheet) to Andrea Hendry's attention at (407) 841-1754.

All internships are unpaid and candidates who are chosen for the Washington, D.C. office may be responsible for paying their travel and living expenses. However, interns in any office can arrange to receive academic credit for their work.

My internship program is open to all college students, regardless of major. Interested candidates should contact my office in Washington D.C. or Orlando, depending on in which office you would like to intern.
