Appropriations

Thank you for your interest in my directed funding (appropriations) requests for Fiscal Year 2011.  I have carefully reviewed each and every application. 

To increase transparency and comply with House rules, I have posted the list of my requests on my website.  The list includes the name and address of the organization or government, a detailed description of the project, and an explanation of why the project is a good use of taxpayers' dollars.  

The appropriate committees have made their decisions regarding which projects will be funded.  You can see the list here.

I am proud that I increased directed funding awards by 500% during my first year in office.  I fought for and won $11.992 million for important projects that create jobs and improve lives.
