Our District

The 16th Congressional District comprises Stark, Wayne, and portions of Ashland and Medina Counties. Our district is diverse in its people and heritage. While agriculture remains our state's number one industry, our district has a solid manufacturing base, and we are home to a burgeoning research sector. More than 700,000 residents currently call the 16th Congressional District home and we are known for many nationally recognized companies including the J.M. Smucker Company, HJ Heinz Company, and Harry London's Chocolates. Ten colleges and universities provide educational opportunities in our district and we are proud to be the home of the Pro Football of Fame right in the heart of Canton.
