Presidential Greetings

My office would be happy to help you in securing a congratulatory greeting from the President for various occasions. Please notify us no more than four months before the date of the event, but please allow five weeks for processing from the date of request submission. The President is unable to fulfill requests after the date of the event, except for wedding, birth, and adoption announcements.

**Please note that the guidelines have changed regarding who is eligible for a Presidential greeting.**

Presidential Greetings are available for the following occasions:

Adoption of Child (request processed after adoption of child)

Birthday – ages 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100

Birthday greater than 100 (please specify age)

Birthday for a veteran 70+ (please specify age)

Birth of child (request processed after birth of child)

Condolence (sent to next of kin only)

Church Anniversary (25, 50, 75 and every 5 years thereafter) (specify years)

Eagle Scout

Family Reunion (25, and every 5 years thereafter) (specify years)

Girl Scout Gold Award

Illness (serious)

Pastoral Anniversary (25 years and every 5 years thereafter) (specify years)

Retirement: 30+ Years (specify career retiring from)

Wedding (request processed after wedding date)

Wedding Anniversary – years 50, 55, 60, 65

Wedding Anniversary greater than 70 (please specify years)

Contact my Staff Assistant, Faith Ammen, at my Washington D.C. office to make a request. Please include full name, including title and/or suffix of recipient, the recipient’s mailing address and email address (if recipient has one), and date of event.
