Water Resources Development Requests

Wolf Creek Dam, Kentucky and Center Hill Dam, Tennessee

Require two dams classified by the Army Corps of Engineers as having "high-risk of dam failure" to be subject to the statutory cost allocations in Section 1203 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986.  This would significantly decrease the non-federal cost-share burden on ratepayers.  The non-federal sponsor is the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Division of Water, located at 300 Fair Oaks Lane, 4th Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601.
