Today, Congressman Henry Cuellar (TX-28), made the following statement regarding the Thanksgiving holiday:

“Every year at this time, we set aside a day to reflect upon our blessings as Americans and look forward to gathering with our families to enjoy a dinner of thanks. But there are others who are far away from their families and working hard to protect our nation. There are 41,670 veterans in the 28th congressional district of Texas and 23,067,000 veterans in America. I’d like to thank these brave men and women who have served and those currently serving for ensuring our freedom, one of the greatest blessings that we celebrate today. And to wish everyone in South Texas a safe Thanksgiving holiday.”
