Committee on Homeland Security

The Committee on Homeland Security deals with transportation security, border and port security, critical infrastructure protection, cyber security, emergency preparedness, emerging threats, information and intelligence sharing, investigations, and procurement.  Congressman Carney is honored to be appointed chairman of the Subcommittee on Management, Investigations, and Oversight.  For a list of hearings conducted by this committee click here.

Committee on Transportation and Infratstructure

Chairman:  James Oberstar (D-MN)

The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure deals with aviation, coast guard and maritime transportation, economic development, public buildings and emergency management, highways and transit, railroads, pipelines and hazardous materials, water resources, and environment.  Congressman Carney serves as Vice Chairman on the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management, chaired by Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC).  For a list of hearings conducted by this committee click here.
