Rep. Bilirakis to Speak at Oldsmar Fire Rescue 9/11 Ceremony |

OLDSMAR, FL (September 9, 2010) – Firefighters in Oldsmar on Friday will remember those lost nine years ago during the September 11 attacks. Congressman Gus Bilirakis (FL-09) will deliver remarks at the event, honoring those who sacrificed their lives and thanking those heroes who continue to keep us safe.
“This event is about remembering those who died and sacrificed their lives in a courageous attempt to save others. We shall never forget their bravery and sacrifice,” Bilirakis said. “America was targeted nine years ago because we're the embodiment of freedom and opportunity in the world. And no one will keep us from continuing to live that way.”
