Health Care |
In March, the House passed historic healthcare reform that will make health care more accessible and affordable for all Americans. President Obama signed the bill into law, and I am proud to have been a voice for Iowa patients, hospitals, healthcare providers and families throughout the process. The bill will reduce insurance costs, expand access to care and allow Americans to maintain their choice of health insurance. I fought particularly hard to fix geographic differences in the ways medical providers are reimbursed. Thanks to my efforts, providers in Iowa will be rewarded for providing some of the highest-quality care in the nation. How Reform Works For You:
