I am closely following the ongoing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico and working with local, state and federal officials to ensure that every resource is made available to address this serious situation. Oil Spill Claims Applications Information: Dauphin Island, AL Foley, AL Gulf Shores, AL Mobile, AL Orange Beach, AL The National Pollution Funds Center (NPFC) provides information on the types of claims that can be filed and how to document claims for damages. The NPFC does not handle initial claims, but rather provides the guidelines for filing.
To report spill damage, oiled wildlife, broken boom, or volunteer:
BP Vessel of Opportunity program:
BP has established a vessel of opportunity program for vessel owners to offer their services to assist with response efforts. Contact 1-877-847-7470. Vessel owners will need to provide details about their vessel: name, owner, horsepower, length, draft, etc.
