San Ramon, CA – Congressman Jerry McNerney (CA-11) announced today that Deputy U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Demetrios Marantis will speak at an event in San Ramon for local businesses.  Deputy USTR Marantis will deliver remarks on U.S. trade policy, the recently announced National Export Initiative, and California’s export opportunities as well as solicit input on policies that would benefit local businesses. 

The Office of the United States Trade Representative works to open markets and enforce trade agreements to increase export opportunities for American businesses, as well as raise the standard of living for families, farmers, manufacturers, workers, and consumers.

The event will be held Monday, May 17th at the Bishop Ranch Conference Center, located at 2623 Camino Ramon #175 (BR3) in San Ramon.  Registration for attendees will start at 9:30 a.m. and the event will commence at 10:00 a.m.
