Internship Information | Print |

I am always looking for motivated young adults to intern in my district offices and in my congressional office in Washington, DC. Internships are a great way to gain valuable work experience and knowledge of the federal government and, more specifically, the legislative process.  The ideal candidate possesses good oral and writing skills and has a genuine interest in public policy and the political process. Intern candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, professional and rewarding environment.

Since many students seek internships during the summer, we recommend that applications for our summer program be submitted by April 1. Internships are also available throughout the academic year. Contact my Intern Coordinator, Anton Helmke, at (202) 225-6511 or (800) 222-2346 for more information.
