Fiscal Year 2011 Appropriations and Project Requests | Print |

Every year the Congress appropriates hundreds of billions of dollars to fund the operations of the federal government.  Included in the federal budget are competitive grant programs to fund worthy projects, and Congressman Kanjorski encourages everyone seeking federal assistance to examine these programs thoroughly through www.grants.gov.  Whenever possible, Congressman Kanjorski seeks to support federal funds that will improve the quality of life in Northeastern Pennsylvania, aid in the creation of jobs, and directly assist local municipalities.  Please note that Congress receives far more requests for funding than can be accommodated, and Congressman Kanjorski's and all Members' requests will undergo a rigorous screening process.  There is no guarantee, in other words, that all of the projects listed below will receive federal funds.
