U.S. Rep. Harry Mitchell was honored in 2010 by Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, with its prestigious "Spirit of Enterprise" Award for his pro-growth, pro-business record during the first session of the 111th Congress.

As a former mayor, Congressman Mitchell visits with constituents in Scottsdale to hear their local concerns and to thank them for getting involved in their local neighborhoods.

At the American Legion Department of Arizona's annual convention, Commander Henry Branch presented Congressman Mitchell with the "Distinguished Legislator Award" in recognition of the Congressman's work on behalf of our nation's veterans. Previous recipients have included Sens. McCain, Kyl and former Governor Janet Napolitano.
