Helping Small Businesses

Small businesses are vital to our economy and ensuring their success is crucial to getting our economy on track. Over the last 15 years, small businesses have created more than 60% of new jobs, and helping small businesses thrive in our community will create jobs here.

Taxes at Lowest Level since the 1950s

Americans paid the lowest level of taxes since the 1950s this year. According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, state, local and federal taxes were 9.2% of personal income. The average rate over the last 50 years is 12%.
