Senator Goodwin Votes to Confirm Solicitor General Elena Kagan for Supreme Court
Senator Carte Goodwin today voted to confirm Solicitor General Elena Kagan for the United States Supreme Court. Solicitor General Kagan was confirmed by the entire U.S. Senate by a bipartisan vote of 63-37.
Senator Goodwin issued the following statement:
"We've made history today in confirming Solicitor General Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court. But Kagan has made history many times before..."
